Today's my 3rd day in a whole new job. 1st day full day orientation. 2nd day 100% learning on my job scope and processes. tired tired tiredzzzz....

Findings...

whole floor is fitted with over 200 mini (3'x4')cubicles with cute little ergonomics chair. I don't have much stuffs, so I'm fine with it. ;P (only big bosses will have the usual L-shaped table)
mini sized cafeteria to be used on selected hours only as it's catered for 100s.
regretted that i've cut my fringe as they require me to hide my hair in the smock (with cap)

ohh...back to work... ciaozzz...

As the saying goes "Time Flies When You Are Having Fun"... Last year~??? nah~! I'm not having any fun at all...

First of all, I've been busy with my new home for the whole of last year... Practically having a hectic time with the renovators who did a very very bad job. I don't even have the time for repainting my home with a better paint.

Then, I've been going for work even on a few of the Saturdays and Sundays during the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2009 due to some so called important projects for my company. ~nope~ no OT... T_T #$#$$#@%%

As for studies, it has been the usual rush rush rush... sigh~! Currently, it another rush again for the final year projects. yay~! at last it's completing very soon and I don't have to look at that person's face anymore. Know what? I've heard from some course mate that "that person" actually plans to go for some arts courses later on and claims that engineering is not of her interest. ~idiot~! why the heck complaining all the lecturers when she could've just stop engineering and start her arts courses earlier on. Nobody would've suffer. #$%@^@$%#$**^%

So Chinese New Year's just this Sunday ^_^ + Valentine's Day... Well, for Chinese New Year, made 6 chinese lanterns out of "ang pows". Luckily I've already finished my shopping... muahahahahaaa~!!!

Remember that I was complaining about the odd colored floor for my apartment TWO days ago? I've finally found the exact match for the tile that I wanted.

Muahahahahahaaa~~!!!!

My main thing is fixed... Now to settle the remaining items. Electrical appliances, my bed, my matress, my pillow, my bedsheets, my study table, my sis's study table... etc... etc... etc.

sigh~! Come to think about it, after paying for the renovation, I may not have enough for most of my stuffs. !_! sob~! sob~!

Wow~!!! 4 months without a blog... what else is there again...Busy busy busy... ZZZzzzz...

1. bZ w. STUDIES
As usual, course completion date was delayed already... that crazy gal finally reliased that we're late and kept bugging us to rush everything... mind her... as long as we can get it done asap it's fine with me... I really don't want to see her face anymore... Hoping that I don't meet up with her in my Postgraduate years.
Besides this, I really do want to start on my degree in engineering... really confused on which college to take up the course. It seems like most of the courses offered are from universities which is good in business management stuffs. sigh~! what's there for me anyways? or shall I just enroll into the local university??? what about the virtual university???

2. bZ w. WORK
I've taken up my new job on 15th September 2008. Whole new company... whole new environment... whole new things to learn up & absorb... I'm really having some difficulty to absorb that many things especially when studies are in parallel... moreover it's already on the 6 months in my current job...
Let's see, I started off with some basic knowledge on analogue radio testing... at the same time, reading and understanding of the standards, procedures, and specifications is a must. Then 2 weeks ago started on digital radio testing and reading of the documents again... Then this time, I need to look at the LabView codes... From the first round looking at it, the feeling is very dizzy... bleark~!!!

3. bZ w. HOUSE RENOVATIONS
At last~!!! after waiting for more than 3 years, my apartment is finally completed. Got the keys, received compensation (so little only), applied for utilities, begin looking for some basic furnitures, begun renovation and start to vomit blood. Sigh~! everything involves money $$$...
Oh yah... for those of you who is going for a house renovation, better make sure that you frequently monitor their work. Else they'll just simply do unnecessary stuffs to it and ask for more money if you wanna fix it later... asshole~!!! what to do??? I don't have the time to monitor it. My dad who's actually free don't have the sense of art... everything also say cincai can already... Now I ended up with an odd coloured floor (Original floor was a sky blue and being replaced with a grey... looks as though I have a clear blue sky with a patch of grey cloud). "How can you accept this kind of work?" I'm paying for it leh... See See the pic below...
The one on the right is the original colour and the left is the so called closest match by the renovator to my floor tile. It's so obvious that it's not even the closest match. Now by thinking of it really having a bad heart ache... sob~! sob~! sob~!

4. bZ w. WEDDING INVITATIONS
HUH?? No... not me... I've been receiving quite a number of wedding invitations this year. Not to mention additionally to those mommy to be... I really need to allocate "ang-pow" fund for this events for them... hahaa... Averagely at least one event per month... It's either a baby's full moon celebration or a wedding... Anyways... My heartiest congratulations to all of you...

Oops~! that's all for now... Need to get back to work... Haizzz~!!! don't really know when will be my next round to blog again... hehe... paiseh~! paiseh~!

Course Completion Delayed... (+_+)

Course completion date delayed??? This is very bad... all my future plans will also be carried forward... sigh*~! Many will think that it's because of the college's management screwed up... mine's not... Basically it's because of ONE idiotic course mate, who complains about every single thing. From lecturer's to class schedules and college management.

8 out of 10 lecturers had been involved in her complains (She want's a teacher NOT a lecturer). - She's already 28 and yet she still needs a teacher? Time to Grow Up Girl!!! This is only in DIPLOMA level!!! You still have a DEGREE to go on...
All class schedules are wrong to her (no fridays, can't wake up on saturday mornings, can only withstand 2 subjects per week, etc.). - There are times they require 3 to 4 subjects running in parallel. If you can't do it, your course gets delayed.
College management delays in result slips (already mentioned that it'll be distributed every end of semester), text book distributions (non-critical as most lecturer's don't use it and neither does it provide us any details), etc. - This complain is legible. And yet the college's management did fixed it.

I'm not fully supporting her decisions. So does my other two course mate. But the majority is with her. And why is the majority is with her??? It's because of pity... All of the others do want an early completion. So... Yes, she threatens her friends..."You guys aren't supporting me... what's the point of studying anymore? I'll just quit this course". And yet she claims that her complains speeds up the course duration and super duper proud of it. Of course not... actual completion date is October 2009 but now it has been delayed to June 2010. A total of 8 months delay. What's there to be proud of??? I just feel like slapping her.
Even the college's management commented that if she ever threatened to leave, they'll be very glad. The college never face such a problematic class before. After my intake, the college actually stops taking in students other than the batches of company sponsored students.
Sigh*~! I have a few choices to make at this moment. But there'll definitely be cause and consequences.

Enquire at other colleges which offers same course if they're able to let me cut in to one of their current running intakes and complete by 2009 instead of 2010 with my current subject exemptions.
Straight away hop into degree in engineering without completing the current diploma via working experience. Is it possible? If I do that, will I be far behind in the knowledge? as I'll be skipping the last few subjects.
Is there any college that will allow me to do their degree with my diploma running in parallel? As long as I can provide my diploma before I finished the degree. At least I won't missed anything. But during this period, I'll be super duper busy with tons of assignments and exam preparations.
Close one eye and carry on. Since I'm already offered as an engineer post in my current job.

What to do now??? Any advice from student counsellors??? or Anybody have been through similar cases???

What is the worst subject when it comes to the college studies? Oh... I can guarantee that some of you may like this subject and some of you may not like it. Me? Of course NOT~!!!
Yes... Correct~! It's the so called LAN (Lembaga Akreditasi Negara) subjects. Now known as MQO (Malaysian Qualifications Agency) subjects.
This time it's the Malaysian Studies paper. I really hate it so much especially it's going to be taught in the Malay language and I nearly flunked my History paper during my SPM. If it's English, I'll be able to understand it better but definitely not in Malay language. Guess what? I'm definitely cuckoo enough to pick this topic for assignment...

"Huraikan kesan-kesan jangka panjang penjajahan Inggeris kepada Negara kita sehingga hari ini. Bincangkan dari aspek politik, ekonomi dan sosial."

Imagine this actually will cost me 30% of the marks another 70% is exam where 20% allocated to objective answers with true or false option type and another 50% is from essays.

Have you ever had any conversation with your friends that ended up in jumping off the cliff yourself? Well I have one. All of our conversations take place with this guy during our break hours. Most of his stories are actually stopped in the middle of nowhere and left all of us in puzzled and waited for the end of the story. Well, it goes like this...

The Guy: Hey... You know, this guy XYZ in that department?
SK Gal : No???
The Guy: There's this time during the meeting, all the engineers just throw him so many questions...... Then XYZ just replies them calmly........
[After a short while waiting]
SK Gal : Then what happened?
The Guy: Oh... That's the end of the story.
SK Gal : ???????? (?_?) lol...

I know what I've written above doesn't sound that interesting. From that guy's expression, it really sounded like there's something interesting we need to know about.
But we enjoyed the laughter after that. Hahaha...

Snacks & Bites - Tortillas

Here's some quick "ta-pau" [pack] to work or simple snack at home.

Ingredients:-
1. Tortilla Bread
2. Fresh Chopped Cabbages / Salad Leaves
3. Tuna Flakes [canned in water / oil] [Anything goes]
4. Cheese [Cheddar & Mozzarella]
5. Salsa Sauce [can either be own cooked or bottled]

Steps:- [ermm... not really...;p]
1. Take 1 piece of tortilla bread.
2. Spread salsa sauce.
3. Put Veggies, Add Tuna, and Top with Cheese
4. Roll the Tortilla bread with the ingredients in it.
5. Bake with Oven or Heat with Microwave.

Here's mine... Not a very good cook though... ;p

My Canon IP1800 died so confirm need to get a new printer and my sis also had a lot of past year papers to print for her ACCA exams. Want a scanner also since my brother ask me to scan this and that. Then thought of getting an external hard disk drive or a USB thumb drive 8GB or more???

What I've bought???

Cheap stuff only la. Not a hardcore printing and scanning. For convenient purpose lo. Well EPSON CX5500 [3 in 1 - Print, Scan and Copy] RM199 nia. Yah... I know there's a stall offering RM190. RM9 cheaper lazy to walk back la. Somemore purchased it at a store where u know someone from there is better. Then my friend bought a Smsung LCD for his aunt.

Oh oH... came across this fancy fancy keyboard sticker stuff before buying my things. Initially I don't have any plans to stick anything onto my keyboard when receiving those mails from friends. But when I saw it, my hand kind of got itchy on wanting to stick something... hehehehe... So... bought it already lo... then sticked alredy lo... some sizes don't fit well though... needed some trimming...hahaha... i ended up having a keyboard that looks like a zebra...

seee...seee...???

aiyah... forgotten to look out for the external hard disk... T_T||| haizzz... think because of carrying the 17" LCD and the printer. Already have the thought of getting back to the car quick before breaking our arms... nvm la... do it next time or go direct to the shop... not in a rush to get it anyways...

Well, here's an option where you may want to make your own scrapbooks for your very own memorable events or as photo album. Exactly as what you've wanted. Yah... I know, there's also a digital scrapbooks made available. But there's a specialised personal touch to a DIY. Okay~! I'm the old fashioned type... hehe...

- Glue [UHU or Art Glue]

Well then I've followed the steps for the binder as shown here in "How Stuff Works".

PROS:

+ Flexible working hours. Cos current job claims that I have flexible working hours but I still require to punch-in and punch-out.

+ Ever heard of job done and nothing to do anymore? My Case...
+ Left with Coordinator job only. Just like normal office OA (my ex-job).

CONS:

- Still in the same company, same department, no cube but sit in the lab only.
- Skeptical that ended up being borrowed to sit on my current job again.

This is something which reminds me of what my mother used to make for my water bottle holder when I was in primary school.
Of course, I want a colour which matches my blue coloured bottle, so I've picked a dark and a light blue colour yarn. [Yeah~! my favourite colour]

2. Okay. Open your mouth and say AHH~!!. (then shoved the stick into your throat)
Hmm...Little bit red.

Well, the following are the few cases where it's really a common sense but still it's... it's... ermm... CASE I: [A Barber's Skill]
Most of the guys who went to the typical Indian barber shop should know how's their techniques right? As usual their accessories are the basic scissors, hair clippers/trimmers, blades & etc. But this conversation turns out like this...
SK Fren: Wow... your hair really makes you look like a mushroom.
The Guy: Yah... it's cos the barber actually uses the bowl to cup on top of my head and started using the trimmers to cut it.
SK Fren: OMG... is it??? they really do this???

CASE II: [Lip Ice Sheer Color]
Most of you should know what is "Lip Ice" right? It's the brand for the lip balm / lip gloss thingy. But what I normally use is "Lip Ice Sheer Color". The one where your lips changes tone after application. This actually existed like more than 10 years ago right? So.. yah... I think this happened last week.

Am I going to have my annual sickness or am I over stressed???

Studies: Exam's coming up and lecturer putting high hopes on me when his teaching is not that good. V_V HOW CAN??? Also bf is relying on me to help him for the exams as well as the assignments.
Work wise: more data extraction programs need to be created as well as modifications to older version is required. Harr??? strict checking on the engineer's submissions is a must due to time wastage. All because of the engineer's unnecessary remarks. Nearly all meetings also need to attend in which most of it doesn't involve me. Suddenly feels like i'm the engineer already T_T when I'm still not yet one. V_V haiizzz... doing the "pau ka liao" job... !_!

Suddenly feel like burst out crying anytime. Online buddy asked to find bf for comfort. No point crying to him... cos he's also facing problems with his work as well as exams coming know la... he's also relying on me to help him ma. Getting Stuffed @ Paddington's House of Pancakes, QueensBay Mall (PG)

Went for dinner after a short window shopping around Queensbay Mall. This was my second visit to "Paddington's". Got stuffed for the huge serving during my first visit. Look at the picture... huge isn't it? I recommend this to be shared. between 2 person at least.

Also already taken a bite out of it... (ermm the other side)

So this time, I was afraid of the huge portion of the food then was not sure of what to order. My friends already made their decision and ordered.

I flipped through the menu trying to find something of a smaller portion. Then I found this one.

hehe... I thought I could finish it... but I was wrong...

Warning~! If you don't have a big appetite, just order the kids meal... It's definitely more than enough... ;p

Never been so discontented during meals with friends and colleagues before. Moreover, the previous and the 1st visit really leaves me with a very good impression on the food presentation, food portion, as well as the services they've provided. Wow~! very impressive.
This time, it's a total disaster. Bad food presentation, unequal food portioning, and very bad service. It's exactly the same location.

I. Bad Food Presentation
Mine is a sizzling salmon on hotplate and from the menu it says served with jacket potatoes. Look... what do you see from the picture? Sliced salty potatoes???

II. Unequal Food Portioning
Looks like it's already been eaten rite? Nope... definitely not... there are 10 of us in which 5 of them is eating the same thing. It couldn't be wrong right? Anyways, both of this are using the same cheap dory fish. In the menu's display was supposed to be one third of the plate's size??????????

Ok... here's the picture. The one on the left is uneaten and the one on the right is eaten half. What do you think? It's definitely very wrong and totally out.

III. Bad Service T_T From the 1st visit, they took a very clear order and they even knelt beside your table to take those orders. But this time, they just repeat the orders from the other end of the table. Who the heck is able to hear what you have repeated???

Moreover when they served me my sizzling salmon steak, the waitress just splashed the sauce and ran away as fast as she could. The sauce is then sizziled and splatted all over the place. She could've just provide me with either a napkin to prevent it from splatting all over me or she could just put a temporary cover to wait till the sizzling stops before removing it.

IV. Too Pricey

You know? my sizzling salmon steak costs me RM29.90 and the other's is like RM16.90 and even RM23.90. All at a small portion. Come to think of it, that guy with the biggest piece felt it's worth lol...

This one don't need ratings... only one word... BANNED

All of you must have seen the water dispenser tray filled with water drips from the tap. But... have anyone of you seen the one that's fillled with drain water? O.o I have... (my office lo)
Yikes~! I've already cleaned it. T_T" yah... can't stand it looking so... so... so... ermm... yucky??? (really indescribable) V_V
(can i upload the pictures later in future? cos i think it will be the same after awhile... hehehee...)
I wonder who is so inconsiderate to have their remains (drinks) poured into the tray.
And guess what?...

Bluetooth Hands Free kit is a popular WIRELESS accessory for the mobile devices. And yet, what I don't understand is that there're still people who uses a wired bluetooth kit. huh??? Like the one shown on the right.

This really don't serve the purpose of being wireless right???

Ermm... Let's see... the main purpose of using a wireless??? cool... gaya...??? I think mainly it's because that the normal wired kit used to get tangled up and makes it inconvenient when one needs to use it.

Moreover I noticed many users that when they were talking using the accessory, they tend to bring the mic towards their mouth [as if they're going to eat it or something] instead of clipping it somewhere around the colar area or aiyah... whichever convenient part they want la. Additional to it, they hold their phone together with the mic and talk to the phone as well.

I even have friends who told me that this type is for those wearing specs. No la... most of them i saw are not wearing specs also.

hehehee... just curious hor... no offence ya???

Well, I can't comment much on this place though. Cos this was only my first visit to Chili's. Also going in couple means that we don't get to try out the different varieties from the menu.

We were kind of bloated eventhough we've shared a starter and a sizzling fajitas. YUMMY~! YUMMY~!

"Mushroom Jack Fajitas"

Juicy, marinated grilled chicken smothered with Jack cheese, applewood smoked bacon and fresh sautéed mushrooms. Served with onions, bell peppers and our house-made salsa.

"Southwestern Eggrolls"

Smoked chicken, black beans, corn, jalapeño Jack cheese, red peppers and spinach wrapped inside a crispy flour tortilla. We serve it with our avocado-ranch dipping sauce.

I really want to try out the other items from the menu. All the pictures looks tasty.

As usual, when you're a credit card owner, there's always freebies for you especially on your birthday month. Wasn't sure if they really giving it to the first 100 customers or it's just another term they used for "GET IT WHILE STOCK LASTS". I've been using this card for nearly 4 years now and this is the second time they're giving away presents... ahh... nope... this should be the first time i'm getting it... the earlier one my ex-bf gave it to me... definitely it vibrates too.

They called it "Driver's Zoudgie"...???... claimable at any OGAWA outlet with the given coupon. Oh... did I mentioned that the guy holding the camera while I was cooking okonomiyaki (yah.. n305er) was there with me?

On the way there, he'd actually said something about "maybe they're really giving you THE vibrator...".

So we were there and the promoter was glad to see us. The promoter brought out the pack and our conversation went out like this: -

PROMOTER: "Here's your gift. The vibrator is inside. Just put in the AA battery and twist to turn it on. ok?"

Well, I kind of thought that he's abit fishy. Why no demo? What if it's broken or something? yala... i'm abit kiasu la. So I opened the bag.

Then I unzipped the compartment. Before I can even take out that vibrator thingy, the promoter pointed.

PROMOTER: "ya...that's the vibrator."

Of course I put it back and left the shop. It looks weird you know?

We were quite curious on how that vibrator looks like. When we got into the car, I took it out to inspect.

Okonomiyaki @ hOmE

My friend was blogging about cooking some simple japanese food. Ok then why not "okonomiyaki"? The ingredients was bought and we kinda mess up his mom's kitchen for the process.
I normally uses fine baking flour to cook. But somehow, there's a recipe that uses Tempura Flour. So I've used that instead of the normal flour.
Over the cooking process, the one who initiated the cooking ended up taking pictures and videos. ehem... I'm the one cooking instead... V_V
Anyways, thanks to him that I don't have to blog out every details in the process.

p/s: It's a bad idea to use Tempura Flour if you don't intend to use lots and lots of cooking oil. But definitely it'll be alot more crispy.

50cents... Is there a counterfeit?

First BNM stopped producing the RM1000 note and the RM500 note. Then the RM1 coin. Why? Coz' of counterfeits of course.
What's next? The 50cents coin?
This is what actually happened last weekend to my bro and sis...
They went for dinner with their friends at one of the restaurants in "New World Park". They paid for their dinners, grab their change then queue up to pay for the car park fee. They took out the change and began slotting. To their amazement, there's one particular 50cents coin that is not accepted by the machine. Nah~! they thought something might have gone wrong with that machine. So... what? they're curious of course. Went straight back home and started pouring out my 50cents collection from the piggy bank ToT (in the middle of the night). Started weighing each one of it and compare the outlook, compare the designs by the year.
Guess what? there really are differences in the outlook and the weights. Definitely the counterfeit coin in lighter. Oh... the picture taken on the left, the right coin is the counterfeit.
This is what I've noticed in the difference so far...

Lighter by weight.
Designs on the "WAU BULAN" are not as detailed.
Font for "BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA" is BOLD?
Petals for "Bunga Raya" is wide apart and not as detailed.
The 5 in the "50" is more roundish.
Frames on the side is crooked.
The "SEN" font looks more like a "5EN".

Are there more out there? ...

NewBie... The "sua-ku"...[PT.I]

sigh~! sua-ku really is sua-ku (hokkien ppl should noe la a.k.a mountain-turtle)... As anybody with eyes can see, this is my first blog planned start date was last weekend or the so called "quite sometime ago" but ended up starting it today due to some "sua-ku" errors about the PostBody which I managed to ask my PRO-Blogger Fren earlier on (ya-la ya-la you lar). But anyhow YEAhhhh... V_V I managed to start it after all.
psst~ here comes the most "sua-ku" part... (happened quite some time ago)
