Crocheted Bottle Holder

Posted by sUmOmO in

This is something which reminds me of what my mother used to make for my water bottle holder when I was in primary school.
Of course, I want a colour which matches my blue coloured bottle, so I've picked a dark and a light blue colour yarn. [Yeah~! my favourite colour]

Here's some information on the crocheted stitch which I've roughly used for my holder. :)

Loop1: ch 5, join to 1st ch using sl-st

start from one side:

R1
: ch, dc 6
R2: ch 2, tr 6.

Continue alternately with R1 and R2 until the required length then joint to the opposite side using dc.
Then finish using the following to connect the handle.

Finishing: [Uses the Light Blue Yarn]

By using the light blue yarn, perform dc round the edges minimise the bouncy feel and finishing.

Here's how the final product looks like.

This is one of the forwarded pictures which motivated me the most to work smart instead of only working hard.

[ Think most of you should know what it depicts right? ] ;P
